Mr. Salinga Goonawardana is the Managing Director of Sanis Eco. With extensive experience in the FMCG sector, particularly within the food category, he brings a wealth of expertise in sales strategy, distributor development, and customer relationship management. Over the years, he has held multiple leadership roles in leading multinational companies, where he has consistently driven strong market growth, built and led high-performing teams, and delivered outstanding sales results across competitive markets.

Beyond his solid foundation in FMCG, Mr. Goonawardana has gained valuable exposure across both product and service-oriented sectors. This diverse professional journey has sharpened his strategic and operational capabilities, allowing him to approach business challenges with clear, out-of-the-box thinking. He is known for his ability to challenge conventional methods, identify new opportunities, and continuously refine strategies in line with evolving market trends, consumer behaviour, and industry dynamics.

His professional foundation was further strengthened early in life through his service as an officer in the Sri Lankan Army — widely regarded as one of the most disciplined and respected armed forces in the world. The clear guidance, strong values, and rigorous discipline he gained during his military career continue to influence his leadership style, decision-making, and commitment to excellence in the corporate world.

Throughout his career, Mr. Goonawardana has been recognised with numerous awards for excellence in sales performance and innovation, reflecting his consistent drive for results and continuous improvement. Outside of work, he enjoys playing badminton and cricket and is a proud father of two daughters.
